Blooming Bachelorette! Three years before JoJo Fletcher was dumped by Ben Higgins, the 25-year-old made a cameo on another reality dating show — and appeared much younger than she did during her eight-week journey on The Bachelor.
In 2013, her older brother Ben Patton set out to find his wife on NBC’s Ready for Love. Naturally, a fresh-faced Fletcher had a guest spot.
“I think that it’s good that you take your dating life outside of the normal circle that you usually try to find women in, because being in Dallas now, I see how some of them are in it for the wrong reasons,” the real estate developer told her brother on the Eva Longoria–produced series, which was pulled from the air after two low-rated episodes.
There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding the group dates on season 16 of The Bachelorette —strip dodgeball, anyone? — but Ben Smith revealed it was totally his decision to bare it all the Tuesday, December 1, episode of the ABC series.
‘ “The art date allowed me to express myself in the other ways,” the 29-year-old personal trainer explained to Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay on the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.
Overcoming a challenge. Bella Thorne opened up about the obstacles she conquered on her own, as she admitted to never learning how to read or count.
Thorne, 21, disclosed the revelation during an interview for the “Chicks in the Office” podcast on Thursday, June 20. She was asked about the “main points” regarding the things she has accomplished in her upcoming book, The Life of a Wannabe Mogul.
“I don’t talk about it in this one, but in the third book it would be the fact that I never learned how to read and I learned how to read from reading scripts,” she told hosts, Maria Ciuffo and Francesca Mariano.
Bridgerton was the talk of the ton when it premiered on Netflix — but not always for a good reason.
The historical drama, which is based on the book series written by Julia Quinn, follows the members of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they search for love in 19th century London. Bridgerton debuted in December 2020 with a focus on Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page).
Season 2 offered Daphne’s brother Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) a chance to find love with Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).
His side of the story. Jamie Spears‘ lawyer, Vivian Thoreen, is defending her client and claiming that Britney Spears has not asked to have Jamie removed as her conservator.
“Early on in the pandemic, they spent two weeks with other family members, hunkered down in Louisiana, and they spent a lot of time together,” Thoreen said on Good Morning America on Thursday, February 25, confirming Us Weekly‘s report that the pop star was bonding with her family in April 2020.
